There are many guest houses and hotels located in the University of Ghana (UG) vicinity. When exploring the internet to make your choice, please pay particular attention to proximity to the campus, because of hectic traffic problems one experiences in Accra. A guest house located within a 4-mile radius from the conference venue can still take as much as 30 minutes to arrive, depending on the time of the journey. Furthermore, only one of the various entry points to the campus is generally accessible to non-UG vehicles, implying that one could be located next to the campus and yet not be able to enter it quickly. Please make your reservations as soon as you are certain about your participation in the conference, as our event coincides with another international activity on the campus. Make sure your email reservation is confirmed; a follow-up phone call is advisable. Remember to re-confirm the reservation a couple of weeks prior to your departure.
